Georgia CPR offers CPR certification (CPR Training) as an authorized training site of The American Heart Association. We offer a Basic CPR Class through The American Heart Association as well as ASHI and Medic First Aid. We are a National Training Center for HSI brand of training, ASHI and Medic First Aid international.
Students who often take a Basic CPR Class are from careers such as day care professionals, personal trainers, construction and industrial professionals. Most corporate, or office workers take Basic CPR as well.
The objective of a Basic CPR Class is simple. It’s objective is to know how to help a victim while waiting for an ambulance or other advanced help to arrive in an emergency medical situation. Another aspect of the Basic CPR class is to understand the differences between life threatening emergencies and those that are not.
With all basic CPR class certification, AED training is taught as well. The American Heart Association requires all CPR certifications to include the use of an AED in their training. This is a very interesting and easy portion of the class that can give the CPR student skills beyond that of just basic CPR.
Basic CPR class certification through Georgia CPR, LLC focuses on hands on practice and scenario-based learning. The courses are taught with a relaxed, supportive environment. Students leave the class feeling confident and prepared to respond to a cardiac emergency. Our goal is not to intimidate or impress the student with stories. The goal is to empower students in making the decision to help another person in need.
