Open Class Policies
We do not issue refunds. If you need to cancel or don’t attend the course, you will forfeit your payment. To reschedule*, you must email us at, ben@gacpr.com, prior to the start of the CPR class. You may only reschedule once.
LATE POLICY
AHA requires students to attend the entire class and to respect timely students, no late admittance allowed. You must make a request to reschedule in writing. A $25 rescheduling fee applies.* To reschedule see fee details. Pediatric CPR with Georgia CPR.
Georgia CPR offers Pediatric CPR certification through Medic First Aid international, American Heart Association and through The National Safety Council. These Pediatric CPR courses, upon completion, include a certification card that is valid for 2 years.

The objectives in pediatric CPR and first aid courses is to learn to recognize an emergency and provide very basic care for the patient. This care is provided while waiting for the next level of care to arrive. It also teaches how to care for non-emergency first aid such as cuts and scrapes, minor burns and minor bites and stings. Knowing the signs of a serious medical emergency and knowing how to avoid common mistakes is also the goal of the Pediatric CPR and First Aid class.
All pediatric CPR classes as well as basic CPR classes include the use of an AED, or Automated External Defibrillator. The reason for this is that the leading cause of death in the United State is Sudden Cardiac Death. Learning how to use an AED can give the responder the ability to increase the chances of survival for a patient significantly. Survival from cardiac arrest is improved greatly through the use of an AED. This is a very interesting and straight forward portion of the class from which everyone can benefit.
Pediatric CPR certification through Georgia CPR, LLC focuses on hands on practice and scenario-based learning. The courses are taught with a relaxed, supportive and energetic feel. This leaves students feeling confident and prepared to respond to a cardiac emergency.
